PMASC Open:

This yearly event is a fundraising project to support the needy and downtrodden individuals both in the United States and the Philippines as part of the outreach program.

PMASC Grand Ball:

The Inaugural Ceremony of the Incoming Officers is usually celebrated biennially. This major social activity of any administration is the biggest fundraising event. The Inaugural ball festivities may include scientific presentations with pharmaceutical exhibits. The funds realized usually support the administration activities for the term especially allocated to Medical Mission.

PMASC Educational Seminars:

The association has accredited medical education meetings involving hot and timely topics. These involve seminars chosen by the CME Committee. The members are all experts and certified by the respective boards. For fifteen years they have been accredited by the California Medical Association and lately by the American College of Family Physicians. Courses on graduate medical education have been offered on two different occasions and in different places. Conferences have been held in different locations. Such seminars will be held based on appropriate and affordable logistics which will be announced in near future. In the meantime different articles of personal and professional interest are distributed from time to time. It is also planned to hold education to people who are served by the medical missioners in the Philippines such as practice of hygiene, prevention of too decay among children and other pertinent topics.

Courtesy Call with Mayor Garcetti                                    PMASC also plans to help the homeless in California -medically, mentally and physically as soon as Mayor Garcetti  will be able to overcome geo-political problems.  Because of insufficient funds we are only able to coordinate with St. Vincent Pathologists, Dr. S. Kennedy and Dr. Ed Lim in studying the incidence of breast cancer that were mostly in advanced stages.  They went to the Filipino community to address such problem.
